Donor records and deferral history
Donor management begins before the donation. Registration captures identity, group, and contact details, while screening outcomes and deferrals are recorded against the donor rather than the session — so a donor deferred at one camp is recognised when they present again months later at the main centre.
Deferral periods carry their own dates and reasons, and staff see that status at the point of registration instead of relying on someone remembering. Repeat-donor history stays attached to the record, which also makes it practical to reach the right donors when a specific group or component runs short.
